Dunbar Cave is a remarkable prehistoric site, not just for Tennessee but for the entire Eastern Woodlands. Dunbar Cave has been used for thousands of years and is the site of significant prehistoric Mississippian Native American cave art dating to the 14th century. The park is 144-acres and is located right here in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Red River Canoe Rentals has been in operation since 1985. They pride themselves on being a family-owned business that’s provided exciting river rides to novice and experienced paddlers for over 30 years. Located 30 minutes from Nashville, they are situated on 70 acres along the Red River in Adams, TN.
Campground with facility onsite. Seasonal hours of operation so make sure to check out their social media or website.
Beaman Park offers 3 hiking trails with 14.6 miles of trail and 3 trailheads. Located only about 30 minutes outside of Clarksville in the Joelton area, Beaman State Park Beaman Park is a 1,678 acre natural area in Davidson County, 15 miles from downtown Nashville. It’s beautiful topography, thick forest, wildlife and nature center make it a favorite choice for locals.
